We’re now looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in network protection, intrusion detection, and security architecture for complex infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Network Security Engineer at EhsanLab, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual or malicious activity using IDS/IPS and SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage endpoint and perimeter defense solutions to ensure strong protection against internal and external threats.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce network access control policies and security baselines.
- Develop and maintain network security documentation, configurations, and incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and CBE standards.
- Stay updated with the latest network security trends, tools, and threat intelligence to proactively enhance defense strategies.
Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should bring:
- 2–5 years of professional experience in network security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or Network Engineering (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
- IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, Zeek)
- VPN and secure remote access configurations
- Network vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Nmap)
- SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching fundamentals.
- Familiarity with cloud network security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Recognized certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP (plus).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
