Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Automation Engineer with over 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing automated testing frameworks, with specific expertise in Cypress and API automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks using Cypress and other relevant tools.
– Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
– Implement and manage API automation testing.
– Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
– Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report findings.
– Continuously improve and optimize the automation process.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
– Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– 2+ years of experience in software automation testing.
– Proficiency in Cypress and API automation.
– Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
– Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
